Over at the Well, our steadfast SiteAdmin has set forth on a bold adventure to slay the comment spam demons by fully upgrading the Well to the latest version of MovableType with all the spam fighting tools available.
I find the use of "anonymous" third party verification tools like TypeKey or the use of non-machine readable challenge codes kill almost all the comment spam.
